CCA is a collaborative effort between the AfCFTA Secretariat, the Black Star Experience (BSE), and Africa Tourism Partners (ATP). It also receives support from the Government of Ghana and various continental cultural institutions.

The initiative focuses on three core creative sectors:
Film: Reshaping African narratives and fostering cross-border co-productions.
Fashion: Blending African heritage with global trends and focusing on sustainable, ethical production.
Music: Enhancing distribution infrastructure, intellectual property protection, and global influence.

CCA leverages the AfCFTA Protocol on Trade in Services to reduce barriers such as high tariffs on production equipment and restrictive visa policies. It provides a digital marketplace and networking platform to help you connect with distributors and partners in all 54 African countries.

The hub is a one-stop digital platform where creatives can access information on trade rules, Intellectual Property (IP) rights, digital trade regulations, and available grants or funding opportunities across the continent.

CCA works with the AfCFTA to harmonize IP frameworks across Africa. On our website, you can find resources on how to register your work and understand your rights to ensure you are fairly compensated for your creativity.

Yes. CCA hosts masterclasses led by industry veterans. These sessions cover everything from "Trade-First Mindsets" to "Digital Distribution" and "Financing for Creative SMEs."

One of our primary policy goals is advocating for the "Single African Air Transport Market" and harmonized visa policies. We aim to make it easier for creative professionals to move across borders for tours, film shoots, and fashion weeks.

CCA facilitates "B2B Matchmaking" between creatives and investors. We also provide information on blended finance models, public-private partnerships, and incubation programs specifically designed for the creative economy.

We prioritize digital sovereignty. Our discussions and resources cover the integration of AI, VR, and blockchain (for royalties) into the African creative workflow to ensure our creators stay competitive in the global digital economy.
